Family & Local History Fair with Craft Stalls 2018

Come and learn about how to research your family history and understand more about the development of the local area.

A number of craft stalls will also feature at the show.
Get ideas about how to display your research.

Family & Local History Societies, Advice/Help Desk, Transcriptions, Indexes, Genealogy Supplies, New Books, Second-Hand Books, Software, Microfiche, Data CDs, Antiquarian Books, Postcards, Map Reprints, and so much more…

Two Free Talks
Gary Brannan – from Borthwick Institute York who will look for “Doncaster’s Scattered History” – unusual records.
Martyn Johnson – author, raconteur and retired ‘Bobby’ will ask - “What’s tha’ up to Nah?”- a bit of humour!
Live Performances of brand new Sand House songs by Jenkinson-Park
Jenkinson-Parks’ performances are free (though there is an admission charge into the Fair) and take place at the Sand House stand at 11:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Hear new Sand House songs and tracks from their album “Songs Of Our Town”

Admission: £2, including FREE Raffle. Accompanied under 14 free.

Table Bookings are now being taken for this event. The 2017 Fair was oversubscribed so book early to avoid disappointment.
