General Data Protection Regulation – Notice to Members


The law is changing to protect your personal information. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect on 25 May 2018. This means that the Society needs your permission to keep your personal data for the purpose of the administration of the Society and to continue delivering a range of services and benefits.

All members will receive a hard copy of the Doncaster Ancestor Summer Edition 2018 together with a GDPR Consent Form. You should complete and return the Consent Form to:

D&DFHS, 49 Barnby Dun Road, Wheatley, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN2 4QW
or email your Consent to the Membership Secretary.

  • If for any reason you do not receive a Consent Form you can download a copy.
  • Those members who have opted to have access to the online version of Doncaster Ancestor will also receive a hard copy of the Summer Edition 2018 of Doncaster Ancestor and a Consent Form.
