On Tuesday 11 July 2017, 10.30am sharp, the Society is having a proposed visit to the Borthwick Institute for Archives in York. It has been proposed that people make there own way there, as some may want to stay on a lot longer than others making use of time to do research after the tour and talk.
The proposed visit is limited to members and their spouses, partners or friends as the University state a maximum number of 30 people.
It would be necessary for those wanting to go to let June Stainforth, Programme Secretary know in advance, so they know how many helpers they need.
The cost is £3.00 each person, there will be plenty of room to park as the students are not in residence at this time.
For any more details please get in touch with June, Programme Secretary.
