Sweet Memories of Doncaster by Geoff Bennett
Come along and hear all about the famous sweet factories, which were once a part of Doncaster. Do you remember Parkinson’s Royal Doncaster Butterscotch? A day at the races wasn’t complete without a packet.
Hear stories of the Radiance factory and the staff. These stories are told with the aid of many beautiful toffee tins. Once upon a time, these tins were in many a home as a button box or other storage containers. The oldest one in his collection dates back 130-140 years old.
