“I have proposed a trip to the West Yorkshire Archives Service , Wakefield, on Thursday morning 4th October 2018.
You will need to make your own way there. There are only 3 disabled car spaces. Other than that there is a car park located not too far away, or there is the train.
This archive runs the CARN (County Archive Research Network) system. I am at the moment trying to find out if it is needed if you are only taking a tour. If you are wanting to get a card you will have to bring some form of identity with you.
The cost of the tour should work out at no more than £3.50. If you are interested please email me via the Society’s Contact Us page.”
