We Need Volunteers
We need people to help us with transcribing documents, attending fairs, helping others with their family history research, helping support our members meetings, help with our online social media presence and much more.
We can’t survive without volunteers helping the Society with its work, we are all volunteers.
What You might be able to Offer
Are you interested in family history?
– Do you have a few hours to spare?
– Do you enjoy meeting people and helping others?
– Do you want to gain new skills?
– Do you have the skills you want to put to good use?
If you can answer yes to one or more of the above questions, please read on.
What We Can Offer
Previous experience is not essential for many of the volunteering opportunities, as training will be given.
We can offer training in administration, editorial, financial, publicity, research, sales, secretarial and website as well as event organising and research facility volunteering, transcribing, inputting and checking data.
