We are pleased to announce that we will be running another family history fair this year, which will take place on Saturday 12th October  2024.

The location is the same as last year, it will be held in the old Art College events room, on Church Walk behind the Minster.

The fair will start at 10am and will close at 4pm.

There is a raffle, where you can win a full 12 months subscription to Find My Past Pro edition, which is worth over £185, with other great prizes.

The event will include 2 free talks:

11.15AM – The History of Hyde Park Cemetery –  a talk by Helen Slade, who is a member of the Friends of Hyde Park Cemetery

2.15PM – The Falklands War – a talk by Chris Tapster who will be in costume with a display of equipment.
